Cabela’s has announced it will open its Delaware County store on Thursday, March 7, at 11 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting at 10:45 a.m. at its Polaris Center location.

“Ohio is full of loyal Cabela’s customers, avid outdoorsmen and women who live the Cabela’s lifestyle,” said Tommy Millner, Cabela’s Chief Executive Officer, in a company press release. “Many hunters, anglers and outdoor enthusiasts across the region have supported Cabela’s for a long time through our catalog and website. Now they get to enjoy the extraordinary Cabela’s retail experience.”

The 80,000 square-foot store is located in the Polaris Centers at the northeast corner of Lyra Drive and Gemini Place just off I-71 north of Columbus, Ohio.

  1. I have a 2003 Ford F350 Longhorn Edition. I would be willing for you to wrap it in Cabela’s and use it as advertising. If that’s something you do…

  2. Cabela’s move to Delaware is huge. It is great to hear that major businesses are opening stores in the region. Retail development tends to follow and anticipate projected residential growth.

The Cabela grand opening sounds like a great event. Good chance to stock on outdoor gear and maybe score some goodies related to the event. In Colorado we have Cabela and Bass Pro Shops. Each is a great way to spend some time shopping or just checking out the latest gear for camping and outdoors activities.

That Delaware is getting this great regional store is really good news for your community.
