Cabela’s Announces March 7 Grand Opening

Cabelas will be opening its first Ohio store in Southern Delaware County on March 7 with the nearly 80,000 square foot facility expecting to bring 180 jobs to Columbus and Delaware County. Not to mention some really cool shopping and displays. [photo by Toby Boyce, Delaware Ohio Real Estate]
Cabela’s has announced it will open its Delaware County store on Thursday, March 7, at 11 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting at 10:45 a.m. at its Polaris Center location.

“Ohio is full of loyal Cabela’s customers, avid outdoorsmen and women who live the Cabela’s lifestyle,” said Tommy Millner, Cabela’s Chief Executive Officer, in a company press release. “Many hunters, anglers and outdoor enthusiasts across the region have supported Cabela’s for a long time through our catalog and website. Now they get to enjoy the extraordinary Cabela’s retail experience.”

The 80,000 square-foot store is located in the Polaris Centers at the northeast corner of Lyra Drive and Gemini Place just off I-71 north of Columbus, Ohio.

  2. Cabela’s move to Delaware is huge. It is great to hear that major businesses are opening stores in the region. Retail development tends to follow and anticipate projected residential growth.

    The Cabela grand opening sounds like a great event. Good chance to stock on outdoor gear and maybe score some goodies related to the event. In Colorado we have Cabela and Bass Pro Shops. Each is a great way to spend some time shopping or just checking out the latest gear for camping and outdoors activities.

    That Delaware is getting this great regional store is really good news for your community.
