Former Ad Executive Discussing Who Won Super Bowl Ad War in Delaware
Steve Drongowski, former CEO of one of Central Ohio’s largest advertising and public relations agencies, will discuss 2013 Super Bowl advertising and marketing when he presents “Winners… Losers… and Why” on Friday, February 7, at 3:10 p.m. at Ohio Wesleyan University in historic Delaware, Ohio.
Drongowski will speak in the Bayley Room on the second floor of Ohio Wesleyan’s Beeghly Library. The event is sponsored by the university’s Woltemade Center for Economics, Business and Entrepreneurship. It will be streamed live and archived online for those unable to attend.
During the presentation, Drongowski will discuss this year’s Super Bowl ads, celebrity endorsements, and sports marketing. Drongowski, a principal at The Gamechanger LLC, worked for 25 years at Fahlgren Inc., including serving as both its president and CEO, and helping the agency to reach the 91st spot on a list of the nation’s 100 largest advertising agencies. He also is a past director of the American Association of Advertising Agencies.
Today, Drongowski works as a management consultant and adviser to a short list of companies as they step up to communications challenges and marketing opportunities in a changing world. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Wittenberg University and began his career as a graphic designer.
Drongowski is speaking as part of the Woltemade Center’s continuing series of marketing experts. Founded in 1985, the center helps students to integrate business theory and practice, and provides resources to benefit the local and regional business community.
