90-Unit Outlet Mall Slated For Delaware County

An “upscale” outlet mall has been announced for the I-71 and State Route 36/37 interchange in rural Sunbury, Ohio, in eastern Delaware County according to Columbus’ Business First’s Brian Ball.

The project features Tuttle Mall owner Simon Property Group and Jeffersonville Outlet Mall owner Tanger Factory Outlet Centers as its primary owners for the 350,000 square-foot center on about 36 acres at the southwest corner of the interchange. The size of the project becomes apparent when you figure it will run behind the current small line of restaurants and extend all the way to South 3B & K Road from teh I-71 frontage.

No announcement has been made on when this will break ground, however goal is to have the project open by the Holiday Shopping season in 2014.
