Delaware Toastmasters will host a free demonstration meeting on Tuesday, October 23, at 6:30 p.m. at the Columbus State College Campus in Delaware, Ohio.
Do your knees knock together at the thought of standing in front of an audience?
Do you feel awkward giving constructive feedback or praise?
Have you bypassed some of life’s opportunities because speaking in public is so uncomfortable?
The demonstration meeting will show how Toastmasters works and how it could possibly help you solve the three issues mentioned above.
You’ll have the opportunity to watch firsthand how someone learns to speak and grow by giving a speech
and having it constructively evaluated by another Toastmaster. You also will experience a session on impromptu speaking called Table Topics, which builds your “thinking on your feet” speaking skills.
Refreshments begin at 6:30 p.m. with the program at 7 p.m. in Moeller Hall room 112 at Columbus State Community College’s Delaware Campus at 5100 Cornerstone Drive just south of Delaware, Ohio.
