Buyer Education Classes Beginning This Week in Columbus

Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission is offering three classes yet this year to assist home buyers become more educated and hence better buyers in the real estate market.

The first-class will be offered on Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and will help buyers understand how to budget for a new home purchase and how credit works in the buying process.

Class Date Time
Credit/Budgeting October 3 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Realtor/Mortgage/Predatory Lending/Foreclosure Prevention October 10 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Home Inspection/Home Insurance October 17 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

 

Completion of the three main courses is required to earn a certificate of completion. Home Repair & Maintenance classes are encouraged for all students and will The Home Repair & Maintenance class will be held monthly and dates will be announced in class.

Except for the Home Repair and Maintenance, all classes are held in the Brewery District at Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, 111 Liberty Street, Suite 100, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
