OhioGasPrices.com has issued a “Gas Spike Alert” for Delaware County and Ohio with prices expected to continue its steep climb to $3.89 – $3.99 per gallon tonight.
A release from the site attributes the spike to crude oil pipeline problems that have been announced today and have resulted in prices rising by as much as $0.61 per gallon. As of 5 p.m., OhioGasPrices.com mobile app was reporting prices of $3.69 throughout majority of Delaware, Ohio’s gas stations with the highest topping out at $3.77 per gallon.
