Family Farmers Invited To Dispose of Tractor, Farm Tires in Delaware Ohio

Local family farmers are invited to dispose of tractor and farm equipment tires for reduced cost this summer.

The Delaware-Knox-Marion-Morrow (DKMM) solid waste district has scheduled Delaware County’s first-ever Farm Tire Collection Day for mid-August at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. Participants must pre-register with DKMM by August 10, specifying the number and sizes of the tires they plan to bring. Tires used by family farmers on everything from wagons to combines will be accepted. Registration is limited.
DKMM’s Farm Tire Collection Days are supported by the Delaware General Health District and its Keep Delaware County Beautiful recycling and litter prevention program, the Delaware Soil & Water Conservation District, the Morrow County Health Department, and the Morrow county Soil & Water Conservation District.
