Powell, Boy Scout Troop 428 To Conduct Flag Retirement

IMG00040-20101114-1420The City of Powell and Boy Scout Troop 428 will conduct a retirement ceremony for old and unserviceable American flags on Monday, May 30 at the Greater Powell Veterans Memorial.

The ceremony will be conducted at the conclusion of the City’s Memorial Day parade and remembrance program.

Flag receptacles where individuals may place any flags in need of proper retirement are located at the Powell Police Department, 47 Hall St., and Liberty Presbyterian Church, 7080 Olentangy River Road.

Flag receptacles will be picked up on Friday, May 27.
