Appointments remain available for upcoming Car Seat Checks for Delaware County parents and child care providers.
Several slots remain open for April’s 
monthly Car Seat Check scheduled for Wednesday, April 20, from 3 to 6:30 p.m. at the Concord Township Fire Department, 7943 Dublin Road in Rathbone.
Appointments also remain available for three Car Seat Checks just added to the schedule at the Orange Township Fire Station, 7700 Gooding Blvd. (just off U.S. 23). Those events, provided with assistance from the Orange Township Fire Department, are set for Tuesdays, April 19, May 17, and May 24, each from 10 a.m. to noon.
The next regular monthly Car Seat Check is set for Wednesday, May 18, from 3 to 6:30 p.m. at the Powell Police Department.
Car seat checks are a free safety service provided by Certified Car Seat Technicians in the Delaware County Safe Communities Coalition. Phone the Delaware General Health District at 740-368-1700 to schedule an appointment at any of these events or get more information.
