DelawareOH365 #6: Colony Lanes, Delaware

Golfers take advantage of the great bowling deal at Colony Lanes in Delaware, Ohio, recently. (toby boyce)

Bowling is one of those events that we’ve all done and many are still so active in it. But a lot of us now talk about bowling as “something we should do more often.”

Well for DelawareOH365 today we’ll head to Colony Lanes on a Wednesday night for a great deal in bowling. On Wednesday nights you can purchase two-hours of bowling and a pizza for $20. Bowl as many games as you’d like and split a pizza and toss in the rental shoes and it is a great night out on the town.

Bowling is a great chance to reconnect with those friends you haven’t seen in a while or just an amazing way to get away with the family for a few hours.

My suggestion: throw a gutter ball to start the round off. Makes everyone laugh and that first mistake is made and everyone can just have fun. (I did tossed that gutter on purpose, yeah, on purpose.)

Colony Lanes Bowling is located at 499 Pennsylvania Avenue, across the Armory and Farigrounds, in northern Delaware, Ohio.
