Jeff’s Jam is a tribute to a great man, but it has become so much more so many children in Delaware, Ohio. On Saturday it will run from 4-12 p.m. in the first-block of South Sandusky Street in downtown Delaware, Ohio.
The event was created by Joanne Meyer in honor of her late husband, Jeff, and with the 14th anniversary it has outgrown the Backstretch Bar and is now a South Sandusky Street tradition. The event comes complete with beer tent, kid’s play area, lots of music, silent auction, and lots more great events.
To date 27 musicians have been inducted into the Hall of Fame and as important – if not more – is that $35,000 has been raised for donations to various musicians in need of medical assistance, children’s scholarship funds, and the Delaware Music Boosters.
Among the bands scheduled to perform are:
- Burning Diesel
- Adam & Serena
- Country Sunshine
- Old Dudes
- Barrelhouse
- Hall of Fame Jam
- Flytown Soul Revue
Now I’m not usually one to “promote” the sponsors for other people events. But when it is something as wonderful as Jeff’s Jam … well I have to make an exception. Thank you to:
| Wanner Metalworx | Workflow Data Systems | Backstretch Bar |
| Jed’s Rental | Cashmans Equipment | Tim Horton’s |
| Main Street Delaware | Emergency Drain & Plumbing | Delaware County Board REALTORS |
| Burning Diesel | Roop Brothers Bar |
So make it a point to head to downtown Delaware, Ohio on Saturday from 4-12 p.m. for this wonderful event.
