La Cabana Mexican Restaurant.
You probably know where it is … it is the former Cabo Lareno restaurant … which of course is the former Cabo Wabo restaurant. The best part? The name changes were simply “legal dealings” and nothing to do with the food.
The food has remained the same and the menu is a great blend of Tex-Mex and some authentic dishes. We’ve enjoyed it a couple times and have neighbors that are are huge fan of the establishment.
If you in town for lunch, you need to visit La Cabana for its all you can eat special. For only $5.99 you have a choice of burritos, tacos, chimichangas, quesidillia, enchiladas, chile relanos and other items. I had a Chile Relano on our most recent trip and it was probably the best Chili Relano I’ve ever had!
Head on out for Happy Hour from 4-7 p.m. to enjoy their full-service bar and a great meal.
La Cabana is located at 1502 West William Street, the former Elks Building, on Delaware’s west side.
