There has been a lot of news lately – including Bloomberg — about a lawsuit against Facebook that is going to trial soon for alleged patent theft from Leader Technologies.
Did you know Leader Technologies is based in Lewis Center, Ohio? That’s right. Right here in Delaware County.
I am going to be the first to admit that I have no knowledge of patent law or this lawsuit. That isn’t what made this a cool story to me.
It is simply that Delaware County has companies that have patents that are so cutting-edge that Facebook would be accused of stealing it.
We have so many amazing businesses in Delaware County that are doing great things – both cutting edge and traditional – that we’ll soon be working to highlight more of them in coming series on Delaware County Real Estate & Events.
