Delaware residents will have another local grocery story to purchase food from today at 9 a.m.
The Aldi’s store at 973 Sunbury Road will open for business bringing its discounts with it. Aldi focuses on prices and uses unique ways to cut down on costs — like a coin-deposit for cart usage, bringing your own bags (or pay for them when you check out) and having a smaller storefront.
The Aldi location is 17,190 square feet which sounds big until you compare it to the average Kroger is 55,000 square feet in size.
Aldi will be open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
