The “Sizzlin” Summer Festival returns to Delaware, Ohio for the 2010 summer with a new location on Saturday, June 12, from Noon until 8 p.m.
The festival has moved to the Center for Older Adults – providing air conditioning – from the Delaware County Fairgrounds
The free admission hasn’t changed offering a lot of great events for the whole family from the kid zone to live music and of course the pig and corn roast. The health fair will run from noon until 7 p.m.
The pig and corn roast will run from noon until 8 p.m. with a la cart portions and carry-out dinners available. Dinner is a $6 in advance and $7 at the door and desserts will be offered by local 4-H clubs. Tickets are already on sale at the Center for Older Adults, Sunbury Cleaners, select Delaware County Bank & Trust branches, or online.
The bands set to perform include:
- Country favorites by the Golden Buckeyes (12-1 p.m.)
- Rock, blues & country by Erica Blinn (1-2 p.m.)
- Classic rock by John Schwab of McGuffey Lane (2-4 p.m.)
- Island Breeze steel drum band (4-5:30 p.m.)
- And an energy-filled mix performed by Burning Diesel (5:30-8 p.m.)
Center for Older Adults is located at 800 Cheshire Road in southern Delaware, Ohio.
