Delaware, Ohio’s first Delaware Citizens Academy graduated last Monday before the City Council Meeting in City Council Chambers at City Hall — and Toby Boyce was a member.
The event was the culmination of seven meetings that was the 23 attendees learning about city government, financing, public works, police, fire, public utilities, and parks and recreation.
Toby and one other Delaware area REALTOR were among the class along with key folks from DATA, Ohio Wesleyan, Chamber of Commerce, and lots of other great people.
According to Lee Yoakum, Delaware’s public relations director, there are already two members signed up for the 2011 class. So don’t miss out on your chance to learn more about this great city.
