A Fair Trade Tea Talk and Cupping will take place today, March 27, at Delaware, Ohio’s William Street United Methodist Church in connection with the Global Village Collection and Ohio Wesleyan’s Chinese Cultural Club.
The event will be led by Angela Macke, founder of Light Day Organics, and will feature a basic tasting at 2:30 p.m. and the advanced session will take place at 4:30 p.m.
Macke is a registered nurse and nationally-known tea blender and will share about the health benefits of teas and tisanes, and enlighten the audience as they taste and enjoy fair trade refreshments.
Tickets can be purchased at Global Village Collection – 37 North Sandusky Street – in downtown Delaware, Ohio, for $12 to attend the basic, $18 to attend the advanced, or $25 for both events. Tickets can also be reserved by calling (740) 363-6267 with credit card information to reserve your ticket.
Proceeds will support Global Village educational programming. Global Village Collection, a nonprofit organization, is a proud member of Fair Trade Federation and Green America.
