Spring may only be ten days away, but with Ohio weather it is always great to have a warm bowl of soup in March. And when that bowl of soup helps to put a roof over someone’s head it becomes even better.
On Thursday, March 11, from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. the eighth annual Soup for Shelter will take place at St. Mary School Commons in Delaware, Ohio. All proceeds from the event will go to Habitat for Humanity of Delaware County.
For only $12 you’ll have the chance to enjoy soup – courtesy of local restaurants – homemade rolls and bread, dessert and beverage. But the best part is that you’ll have the chance (while supplies last) to take own your own beautifully handcrafted ceramic bowl.
St. Mary School Commons are located at 66 East William Street – at the intersection with Henry Street – in downtown Delaware, Ohio.
