HelpLine of Delaware and Morrow County is currently screening and referring Delaware and Morrow County individuals who qualify for free tax assistance through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
The VITA program assist low-to-moderate-income (generally annual incomes of $40,000 and below), persons with special needs such as elderly, non-English speaking and disabilities. The VITA Program is a safe financial alternative to high-cost tax preparers and organizations engaging in predatory practices like the Refund Anticipation Loans.
