The culture of China will come alive during a Chinese New Year Gala that kicks off China Week Activities on the Ohio Wesleyan University campus.
The celebration will be held from 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday, February 28, in University Hall’s Gray Chapel on the downtown Delaware, Ohio, campus.
The gala will feature traditional Chinese dancing, music, and martial arts performances. This free public event is hosted by Ohio Wesleyan’s Chinese Culture Club and Department of Modern Foreign Languages.

Beeghly Library - 7 p.m., March 2 – Lust, Caution in the Bayley Room in
Beeghly Library, 43 Rowland Ave. This 2007 movie directed by Ang Lee is an espionage thriller set in World War II-era Shanghai. The movie includes English subtitles. - Noon, March 3 – Chinese Carnival featuring games and snacks in
the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center’s Benes Rooms - Noon, March 4 – Bubble tea will be sold in the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center’s Benes Rooms. This event will raise funds
for the Chinese Culture Club’s Relay for Life team, which will complete in the American Cancer Society’s event. - Noon, March 5 – Tea Ceremony in the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center.
