Delaware City Council will have a second-reading on the proposed transition of the Stratford Road, U.S. 23, and State Route 315 into a Turkey Hill Gas Station on February 22 in City Hall beginning at 6:45 p.m.

The site is currently the location of Garth’s Auction Barn, which rents the current location and is planning to move to an undetermined private location.

The current plan includes the addition of the gas station, convience store, and car wash at the corner of the three roads – near where the Gallery stands today. The remaining land – and most important the Colonel Forrest Meeker home and farm – would be donated to the Delaware County Historical Society to become its future home.
