Today is the “unofficial” beginning of spring.

The Boys of Summer begin to take the fields throughout Florida and Arizona in large numbers as pitchers, catchers, and injured players begin to report.

While they are taking the time ready their bodies for the field of battle come April, you should also be getting your home buying and selling stratagies in shape as well.

Looking to sell your home?

You need to be ready to get on the market — like yesterday. The $8,000 first-time home buyer tax credit and the $6,500 move-up credit both need you to be in contract by April 30. So what should you be doing today? Of course, I’m going to suggest you contact me and we’ll take a hard look at your house and determine what needs to be done to get it market ready. You don’t have time to “worry” about things that will not effect the saleability of your home.

Looking to buy a home?

You are in the driver seat — for now. We’ve pointed out previously that the Delaware market is really already showing signs of moving to “neutral” from a buyer’s market. However you still have a chance to get a good deal. Top that off with the home buying tax credit and now is a great time to purchase a home if you’ve got all your ducks in a row. Contact Toby to talk about your options and don’t miss out on a great chance to buy a lot more home for the money.
