Main Street Delaware has announced that its “Chocolate Walk” has been postponed until Friday, February 12.

The move was made in response to the significant snow fall that’s fallen over the city today.

The Chocolate Walk will begin at 57 N. Sandusky Street with ticket where you will receive a gift bag and a map. Then, wander to participating businesses and receive your piece of chocolate goodness at each location. It will be more candy than you can eat. Children will receive an adornment for a Valentine at each location and can assemble their Valentine at our ending location. Please call or email for more details. Tickets are available at Beehive Books, Not on the Corner Framing, and Simple Indulgences. They are only $5 each.

The activities for the First Friday will continue on a business-by-business basis. Some business, for example Corner Framing Gallery, are continuing the festivities tonight. If you are coming downtown for a particular business, it would be wise to call the business and verify they are going to be open.

Enjoy and be safe out there.
