Humane Society Building Houses for Homeless Dogs

Humane Society Building Houses for Homeless Dogs

Join the Humane Society on Saturday, January 30, to build dog houses, cat houses, and dog beds for animals living in Delaware County from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Delaware Area Career Center

This is a great opportunity to volunteer as an individual, as a family, or as a group! If you are a part of a scout, church, or community group; 4H; or athletic team? This would be a great group event and help homeless animals at the same time. There will be work to do for those of all ages.

Lonely dog looking for a friend

Lonely dog looking for a friend would love for a new dog house.

You only need to bring yourself and lots of friends, as tools, building materials, food and drink will be provided. However, if you would like to bring your own tools – tape measurer, drill, hammer, etc – please feel free to do so.

Pleae call (740) 369-7387 by Friday, January 29, to confirm you are attending!

The Delaware Area Career Center is located at 1610 State Route 521, just north of State Route 36/37, in eastern Delaware.
