Delaware’s Beehive Books Hosting Civic Forum

Beehive Books, an independent book store in downtown Delaware, Ohio — will host a Civic Forum on Thursday, January 14, at 7 p.m.

The topic on the forum will be “The Limits of Government” and will include Fred Andrle as moderator along with Bernard Murchland, editor of the Civic Arts Review, and Keith Boger, attorney.

Among the questions that could be addressed are:

  • Should the Federal government bail-out wealthy corporations?
  • Sponsor a public health care system?
  • Take a proactive position on climate change?
  • Pull out of Afghanistan?
  • Have we lost the war on drugs?

The Civic Forum is co-sponsored by Beehive Books and the Civic Arts Review, published by the Arneson Institute for Public Affairs at Ohio Wesleyan University.
