G Miles Band will be rolling into the Backstrecth Bar tonight, December 19, at 8:30 p.m. for a show at the downtown Delaware location.
This 7-piece group has a diverse style, ranging from traditional, down-home blues to swinging R&B. Miles has three CD’s under his belt and has been praised by both local and national reviewers. The July-Aug 1999 issue of Blues Revue Magazine shows Miles “who sounds like a soulful cross between Delbert McClinton and The Eagles’ Glenn Frey” as the leader of the band and compares his guitar playing to that of Santana and the Allman Brothers.
The Backstretch Bar is located in downtown Delaware just south of the inetersection of William and Sandusky Streets.
