National City Bank appears to be dissapearing from Central Ohio.
Nearly one year ago, it was announced that National City Bank was going to be purchased by Pittsburgh-based PNC Bank.
It now appears that the “conversion” will soon be complete as several NCB locations around Delaware County have white-vinyl banners on the exterior — like this photograph of the branch on US 23 at Lewis Center Road — hiding another sign underneath.

Toby, I heard that our Chicago area branches will be changing over after the first of the year. But you can already see signs of the change on their website, business cards, pos displays in the branches. Another couple months and National City will be no longer.
Have a great weekend!
