“Big Boyz with Power Toyz” will bring hydroplane power boat exhibition and a poker run to Alum Creek State Park in Delaware, Ohio on Saturday, September 19.
The event is sponsored by American Powerboat Association and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and will run from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. The boat racing, poker run, exhibits, concessions, and entertainment will be a the north beach area of Alum Creek State Park and the best part is that it’s all free.
The boat race will begin at noon with a variety of race boats including vintage and current hydroplanes.
The poker run will begin with registration at 9 a.m. and the last cyle leaving at noon. Cost is $20 for single or $35 for double riders. The 70-mile circuit will includes stops at four VFW posts.
