You may or may not have noticed that the postings have been a little inconsistent over the past month (I have), but I took a little time off this summer as owner of Ohio Home Team, llc.
That’s right I took a vacation.
Well, I guess a vacation would be right. But it wasn’t really a vacation — as I was an instrumental part in bringing the first-ever Real Estate Barcamp to Ohio.
What’s a Barcamp you ask? In a traditional format, a barcamp is an informal collection of people gathering to talk about technology. This was the second time a barcamp had been held in Columbus, but the first real estate session.
I’m not bragging, but it was really cool to see 160 real estate professionals learning how social media can and will impact your business in the future.
So what did you do on your summer vacation? Leave a coment and you’ll be in the running for a prize!

Photo credit has to go to Sarah Cooper’s camera, though I have no idea who actually took it. And David Childress was also part of the committee — but had left before this photo was taken.
Was bummed out that I didn’t get to go to BarCamp even though I had registered. Our summer’s been revolving around the recent sale of our home and move to temporary quarters until our permanent home is available. We’ve spent so much time packing, organizing, and actually moving that we have only spent two weekends at our lake house and that’s been a real bummer! In any event, I’m looking forward to the next opportunity to meet some of those fine looking folks in the pix!
Took the family on a driving vacation (6,300 miles) out west. Saw many things and enjoyed numerous State & Federal Parks. We sure live in a beautiful country. But it is nice to be back home in Ohio.
