The National Alliance on Mental Illness and Helpline of Delaware-Morrow Counties will offer the NAMI Family-to-Family Education Program from 6:30 – 9 p.m. beginning on Tuesday at the William Street United Methodist Church in downtown Delaware.
The 12-week series of classes is for parents, siblings, spouses, teen-age and adult sons and daughters, partners, and significant others who are caregivers of persons with severe mental illness. The course is not appropriate for those who themselves have a major mental illness.
The program will cover a wide variety of disorders and techniques to help cope with this illnesses.
