O'Shaunessey Dam is on Glick Road adjacent to the Bogey Inn which will be the site of the DAM Jam on Friday night.
SThe time has come for everyone to just have a DAM good time at DAM Jamp 2009!
Located on Glick Road and the Bogey Inn across the river from the Columbus Zoo, the DAM Jam is put on annually by the Shawnee Hills Chamber of Commerce. This year’s event is Friday from 5 p.m. until Midnight.
There will be free entertainment with zoo animals (6-7 p.m.) and Ohio Wildlife (7-8 p.m.) in addition to boundy, face painting, games, rocket baloons, water yoyos, and decorating your own cookies at Shawnee Hills Bakery.
Adult beverages and wine garden will be at Cedar Brook Garden Center and two bands will perform with Ritalin Jones on stage from 5:30 until 8 p.m. and Conspiracy from 8:30 until midnight.
There will be lots of food booths including offerings from:
- Village Pizzarea
- Iaconas
- Jimmy V’s
- Shanghi Lily
- Bogey Inn
- Shawnee Hills Bakery
The weatherman promises to cooperate and the whole village of Shawnee Hills is looking forward to hosting this annual event.
