Paolo Rosi has a winery in his Powell basement, according to ThisWeek Community Newspapers Delaware.
Rosi’s Via Vecchia is a small producer of artisan wines that account for about 400 cases per year from his Powell home. Via Vecchia produces four distinct flavors of wine Travato (sangiovese, pinot noir), Adamo (sangiovese, cabernet franc), Jorro-Ma (syrah), and Trouve (cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc).
On Saturday, Meza Specialty and Gourmet Food Shop in Westerville will have a tasting of Via Vecchia’s wines from 4 – 6 p.m. at their location at 48 North State Street.
