Keep Delaware County Beautiful, the recycling and litter prevention arm of the Delaware General Health District, is again sponsoring the Senior Appliance Pick up Service.
The event is a first-come first-served event and today is the registration deadline, call the health district at 368-1700 to arrange service.
The services sends crews to homes of area residents aged 60 and over and help with large appliance recycling. Among the items accepted this year are home computers and accessories, ranges, refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, microwaves, dishwashers, and dehumidifers.
The award-winning program visited 241 homes in 228 and 637 over the past five years.
