Has the time come to get your kids’ artwork off the fridge and up on the wall?
Or are you just ready to have professional looking matting and framing in your home?
Well, you’re in luck as Delaware’s The Arts Castle will host a new class, “Matting & Framing Basics”, beginning on April 6 and running also on April 13. The class, instructed by Ginny Baughman, will teach you to measure, cut, and assemble a mat for your artwork, as well as how to frame the piece. After discussing frame requirements during the first sessions, students will have the chance to purchase a frame for their piece during the second session.
Cost is $47 for Arts Castle members and $51 for non-members. The Arts Castle is located at the intersection of Elizabeth and West Winter Street in western downtown Delaware.
