Delaware County Master Gardners Association will host the ninth annual Green Thumb Gardners’ Fair on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Olentangy Liberty High School.

Two key note speakers will highilight the events. “Edible Landscaping” will be presented by Dr. Gary Gao,
OSU Extension educator for horticulture, at 10:30 a.m. At 1:30 p.m., Marvin Duren, landscape manager at Marvin’s Organic Gardens in Lebanon, will present “Unique Landscape Concepts for All Areas.”
Other topics to be covered will include:

- Creating Fun with Floral Design
- Japanese Maples and Dwarf Conifers
- Planning your Vegetable Garden
- Seeds: A New Beginning
- Herbs by Nature
- Budget Friendly Water Gardens
- Brambles and Berries
- Generation Green
- New Annuals for 2009
There will be a raffle with over 45 items donated by merchants in the Delaware County area in addition to 12 different educational calsses from experts on a variety of horticultural topics. Reusable promotional bags distributed at the door to the first 300 attendees.
Admission is $7 and Olentangy Liberty High School is located at 3584 Home Road, at the intersection with Sawmill Parkway, in Powell.
