D’s Steakhouse and Simple Indulgence have joined forces for a special wine dinner on Monday at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $55 for singles or $100 per couple and includes six courses paired with special wines from all over the globe.
The advertised menu includes:
- German Riesling paired with Grilled Scallops served on top of a parsnip puree, finished with a thai chile buerre blanc and garnished with fried taro chips
- Italian Pinot Grigio paired with Shaved Fennel presented with blood orange, cucumber and poppy seed
- French Sauvignon Blanc paired with Pan Seared Halibut surrounded by a vidalia onion and herb broth, topped with a cabernet and shallot compound butter
- Intermezzo of Cucumber Caviar
- Australian Red Blend paired with Crispy Confi Pork Belly rested on a bed of soft polenta, quick saute of swiss chard and Carolina BBQ sauce
- Argentinian Malbec paired with Red Wine Braised Short Ribs accompanied by broccoli rabe and a savory ricotta tarlet. Finished with a rich natural red wine jus reduction
- Italian Moscato d’ Asti paired with Carmelized Poached Pears dressed with homemade honey vanilla ice cream and salty caramel fig pan sauce.
Payment is required at time of reservation. Reservations are to be made with Simple Indulgences either over the phone by credit card, or you may pay cash in person at our store.
Simple Indulgence is located at 31 North Sandusky Street and D’s is located at 29 East Winter Street across from the Strand Theatre in downtown Delaware.
