The Art Loft opened last month on the second floor of a building in downtown Delaware.
They will have a gallery featuring work for local artists and a space for classes — including a $5 “make and take” at every Main Street First Friday.
Co-owners Phyllis Catania and Suanne Goings recently told Connect2OWU that “the idea is to feature rotating three-dimensional and two-dimensional art pieces that complement each other. Currently the work on display is that of the owners, highlighting Catania’s fiber craft and Goings’s unique paintings and alters. ‘I think there’s plenty of talent locally,’ Catania says, noting that the Art Loft hopes to feature the work of artists from around central Ohio, including pastel artist Merideth Martin from Sunbear Studio in Center Village.
The Art Loft is located at 59-1/2 North Sandusky Street in downtown Delaware, Ohio.
