Opera Comes to Delaware, OWU

will present scenes from classical operas during its three-show run on Nov. 7-9. in Jemison Auditorium

The selections will include The Marriage of Figaro, The Medium, The Ballad of Baby Doe, and Riders to the Sea.

The annual tradition is being stage directed by Tim Veach, artistic director of Columbus Dance Theater, and musically directed by Jason Hiester, OWU professor of music. Performances will be held at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday with a matinee (2 p.m.) showing on Sunday.

Tickets are $10 for general admission with senior citizens, students, and OWU employees getting in for $5. For more information on tickets call (740) 368-3700.

Jemison Auditorium is located inside Sanborn Hall located at 23 Elizabeth Street on the western edge of Ohio Wesleyan’s campus.
