Olentangy Crossings Coming to Life

Much like the rest of southern Delaware County, Olentangy Crossings was nothing more than a corn field only a few years ago.

But with U.S. 23 cutting through and its close proximity to the Outerbelt, Ohio 750, and Olentangy High School along with the other growth of rural Powell and Lewis Center it was only a matter of time.

Located north of Lewis Center Road, Planned Communities is developing a large commercial / retail / residential development about four miles south of Delaware and less than two miles south of the new Grady Hospital campus.

Olentangy Crossings is already home to three banks – National City, Delaware County Bank, and Ohio State Bank – but it was recently announced that a Kroger Marketplace and a 30,000 square foot Ohio State Univeristy Medical Center outpatient facility will be coming in the next year. According to the Delaware Gazette another 32,000 square feet of retail space will connect Kroger with OSU.
