Mama Mia!, a movie based on Abba’s music, will return to Delaware’s The Strand Theatre. on Friday … only this time with the words!
The movie that blew through Delaware earlier this summer and left many crooning for Pierce Brosnan’s looks (and in no way his singing) and the ability of Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried is back only this time its Mama Mia! The Sing Along Version which brings karaoke to the big-screen, with many of the movie’s songs on the big screen goading the audience to sings its collective heart out.
“Now everyone can sing as loud and proud as they want and know all the words,” Strand Manager Kara McVay told Connect2 OWU, adding that the movie also was a crowd-pleaser when it first played at the theater this summer.
Show times will be on Friday at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.; Saturday at 1:30, 4:30, 7:30, and 9:30 p.m.; Sunday at 1:30, 4:30, and 7:30 p.m.; Monday through Thursday daily at 7:30 p.m.
