After nearly a year, Friends of the Delaware County District Library are now a reality and they are having their first meeting on Saturday at 8 p.m.
The group is looking to help bring public attention to the library’s services and offerings along wih the need to raise funds to help support the programs.
There are several levels of membership available, contact board member Hillary Kline at 368-9467 for more information.

The Friends meeting is at 7:30, actually. It coincides with the finale of The Big Read. Doors open at 7:00. There will be music, dancing, and food. The Friends will have a short business meeting at 7:30, and then everyone can return to the festivities.
