Andrews House and The Global Village Collection welcomes Angela Macke for the Tea Workshop from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Macke founded Light of Day Organics when the fair trade and specialty tea industry was in its infancy. She has been a leader pushing the envelope both in terms of quality and with regards to the integrity of the relationships that she maintains with the farmers who grow her teas and other ingredients. Her extensive background in gardening and expertise as a registered nurse combine to give not only unique insight into the labor involved in producing an excellent cup of tea, but knowledge about the many health benefits of consuming tea.
Tickets are $12 and are required and can be purchased in the store or by calling 363-6267. Andrews House is located at 39 West Winter Street.
