The adage around Ohio is that "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb". We ususally have very volotile weather this time of year. For example it was 70 on Tuesday, we have 20 inches of snow on Friday, and it will be 50 on Thursday again. Carole – I’m sure Cleveland will outpace our 20.5 inches. But it set a new mark for most snow in March and most snow in a 24-hour period in Columbus … ever.

It seems hard to imagine the snow brrrr! We have been lucky in England and have escaped the worst of it this year and in the midlands it has mostly been imaginary, thank goodness. It's been a good few years since I've been out with the shovel. Still it will soon be the equinox (21 March - first day of Spring) - but does it generally improve your side of the ocean once the magical 21st has arrived?? You have a really unusual blog.
