After voting today, I had chili lunch at The Women’s City Club. My table had an interesting mix of women having lunch before they voted, and the conversation was quit lively as we discussed some interesting and eccentric former residents of the northwest neighborhood. The pie tray looked delicious, and my selection was the pumpkin pie…………the cherry pie was already taken!
I miaaws this event and truly regret it. It sounded like a lot of fun!–but I didn’t want to take any chances with the weather.
Lynne, I’m so glad you had a chance to attend and it was a good time.
Unfortunately I, like Mary, wasn’t able to attend. I was rushing back from Best Buy for floor-duty at Disbennett. Was hoping to stop in for a quick-bite.
