Matt Wertz will perform in the Benes Rooms of Ohio Wesleyan‘s Hamilton Williams Campus Center on Wednesday 9 p.m.
The show, which will feature Ohio Wesleyan senior Robyn Leah Case as an opening act, costs $5 with doors opening at 8 p.m.
Wertz, 27, is gaining a foot-hold as a soulful rocker with a Christian meaning. He’s from Missouri, and resides in Nashville, and is known for his performances at Young Life events across the country.
“‘Everying in Between’ is a short album of simplistic love songs both romantic and spiritual, but there’s no denying Matt Wertz has impressive skill when it comes to sentimental pop hooks,” recently wrote Christianity Today.
Case is an English major from Dayton that is working on her second full-length album which is due out in early April.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Mocha Club which is dedicated to supporintg children’s causes in 27 African countries.
