Where’s the Car Love in Delaware?

All too often, we get in over our heads. Whether it be with debt, relationships, and sometimes worse of all time.

Well if you have plans to restore that clunker in your yard or driveway, but haven’t had time — your neighbors may make it their business to get the vehicle out-of-site. In early February, Delaware City enacted a “junk car policy” which will be used to help limit abanonded and neglected cars from being a blight on our city’s landscape.

The law is fairly straight-forward in that if a vehicle is in dis-repair and left in the open for three days, then it is considered abandoned. However, the city has created a nice “FAQ” Web page on the policies.
