Another development is in the works in Delaware.
As Zaremba is breaking ground on Delaware’s east side with its development to bring Kohl’s, Home Depot, and Meijer to town. A development is in the planning stages on the west side.
At the southwest corner of the intersection of Houk Road and U.S. 36 a development is taking shape with yet to be named anchors.
It is probably still years away from breaking ground but is on the drawing board.

We moved to sunbury, from westerville(The Lakes) and enjoy the laid back country life so much more. However,I do miss shopping .I am thrilled that kohls, home depot and meijer will soon be finished and hopefully, open by the christmas holidays. We need a few upscale clothing shops also.Believe it or not,we don’t all wear bib overalls and have a piece of straw stuck between our teeth(yes we do have teeth!)I’m quit sure that we’ll spend as much as the next guy.Don’t assume that country folk are all walmart fans.actually,Walmart is a great store,we need a super Walmart here too.,why not?Just give us shopping,we’ll come….
Sandy,
Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting! I love the laid back lifestyle of Delaware County and I know that my wife would agree we need more places to shop.
If people keep coming in, I’m sure the developments will continue to follow.
whats coming out there have you found out yet?
A bank is going out there on one of the lots, however I don’t have any new news on the rest of it. Lots of rumors from Chipolte to Giant Eagle, but nothing more than rumors.
