North American Bus Industries has broken ground on its new facility at the intersection of U.S. 42 and Slack Road south of Delaware, according to the Delaware Gazette.
The company is going to build a 215,000 square-foot facility and hopes it will be ready for 45 new employees by May.
NABI currently has a facility at 1275 Houk Road, just north of Pittsburgh Drive, and elected to build this facility in Delaware over a site in Pennsylvania.
More development could come to the area as Cerberus Capital Management, owner of NABI, owns 23 acres at the intersection.
