Downtown Welcomes Two New Stores

784040_clothes_and_hangers.jpgSnouffer Apparel and Everest Gear have recently opened their doors downtown and after visiting Chandra’s Bistro, I took the time to stop in and check them out.

Everest Gear, located where Encircle had been located on north Sandusky Street, is based in Granville and has had its Delaware store open for 22 days. The primary goal of the store is to sell hiking supplies – from high-end sleeping bags, to apparel, to hiking maps and more. However, they also are smart enough to have captured some of the Ohio Wesleyan foot traffic with a collection of moderately priced OWU logo apparel on sale. I picked up a nice T-shirt for $8.99 and will be sporting it in Branch Rickey Arena this winter.

Snouffer Apparel, located in the former home of El Acapulco on north Sandusky Street, was a tough place to visit. They have totally revamped the interior, but every where I looked I saw good times in the former Mexican restaurant. However, times change, and we have to move forward. Snouffer sells new clothing from a variety of designers and styles.

They are both worth a look and hopefully you’ll find something new to wear!
