Your posts always portray Delaware, OH as a wonderful place to live. It seems you guys have a lot of fun in what appears to be a very wholesome and tight-knit smaller town.

Sounds like a great time! Are you guys going to try to make replicate this kind of Oktoberfest? http://youtube.com/watch?v=7bel1yA4sMY

Joe - I would love to see that seen replicated for the most part - but as a Jack & Coke guy I prefer to replicate the Swedish version of the same commercial.
Stacey - For the most part that is true. We have a great county with a lot of wonderful people that have a lot of fun living in this area. While we don’t have some of the amenities of other areas - oceans, mountains, etc - we do give people a great way to enjoy themselves and enjoy nature. But then maybe I’m a total dweeb…

I figue you anything but a dweeb, Toby. My husband and I are both from smaller towns in Western Pa. When I read some of your posts I recall some of the best of our areas. Oceans and mountains cannot replace family values and a the comfort of a small hometown.

That is exactly the point. Is there some “down” things about living in Delaware, of course. However, I have only met a couple of people that really “don’t like” this town — and usually they are young adults that grew up here. And will probably move away to some big city and then spend the rest of their life trying to get back here.
And I hope it stays that way.
